tips
Plan the direction, not every
minute
Check the weather. Look at the distances.
Pick a few possible stops.
But do not plan every single hour.
Some places deserve an extra night. Some
roads just have to be driven because they
look promising. That is the whole point of
camper life. You can change the plan.
We collected a bunch of great tips for your trips.
Feel free to implement them when you plan your
next adventure.

Pack light and don’t overdo it
Always have a plan B
You always think you will need everything.
You won’t.
Especially in high season, things fill up
faster than you think. So have a backup.
Save one or two alternative spots on your
phone before you arrive.
Bring what you know you will actually use.
Clothes you can layer. Gear that does more
than one job. Leave the just in case bag
at home. It will only get moved around all
weekend.
The less you have to manage, the more
relaxed you will feel. Comfort is not about
bringing the most stuff. It is about bringing
the right stuff and being able to find it
without emptying the whole camper.

The Explorer
It gives you options and keeps the mood
relaxed. If your first choice does not work
out, you already know where to go next.
No driving in circles. No last minute stress.
Just the freedom to adjust and keep the
trip feeling easy.
Take 昀椀ve extra minutes to
choose your spot
When you’ve properly arrived at your spot,
take five extra minutes to choose where to
settle.
Are you level? Is there shelter from the
wind? Where will the morning sun hit?
Take a quick walk around before you
set up.
Wind often matters more than rain, and
even a small shift of just a few meters can
change everything. Look at the ground,
notice the wind direction and pay attention
to what surrounds you.
A well-chosen spot makes the evening
calmer and the night a lot better.
